PRESIDENT AND CEO
With over 20 years of experience running numerical simulations of the formation and evolution of the Universe in collaboration with NASA and the National Science Foundation, he believes in the potential of virtual reality to better explore high dimensional data from current, state-of-the-art science experiments. Fabio conceived of Ulysses while participating at a Seattle VR hackathon. His leadership on the team involves marketing strategist, community liaison, and home-made pizza.
Vice President and Chief Scientist
Rory is a professor of astronomy, astrobiology and data science at the University of Washington in Seattle. After working for years developing software to study astrophysical, geophysical and atmospheric processes that create habitable worlds in the Solar System and beyond, he understands the needs of diverse science communities that are drowning in big data. He is referred to as The Destroyer of Worlds.
An early VR developer and experienced real time 3D visual effects artist, Nick coded the first line of Ulysses. In charge of planning and executing the complex architecture of this bleeding-edge VR application, he finds novel solutions in an uncharted medium.
A VR evangelist and UX designer, Caitlin is responsible for crafting user-centered design solutions to make data exploration with Ulysses intuitive, innovative, and immersive. She leverages her expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, and community outreach to ensure Ulysses works well in complex data challenges.
